Buckeye Driver Intervention Program

We offer many dates and times for our Buckeye Driver Intervention Program. We offer the program in 2 separate locations surrounding the Dayton, Ohio Area. These locations include: Miamisburg and Englewood.

The Buckeye Driver Intervention Program is designed to educate, screen and intervene in the use and behavior patterns that create OVI opportunities. The Program is certified by the Ohio Department of Alcohol and Drug Addiction Services and meets the requirements for a 48 and 72 hour residential program. The 48 hour and 72 hour programs also include the 8 hour remedial driving class at no additional charge to the client. This is a savings of $75-100.

During the weekend program, a screening is conducted, the results are shared with the client and a recommendation for additional services is made if screening results indicate the need. A report is sent to the Court within 48 hours following completion of the Program.

72 Hour Fee: $390.00 ($380 if paid by cash or money order first day of class)

Non Residential Special Conditions Driver Intervention Program

The Non-Residential Special Conditions Driver Intervention Program is designed to help the client accomplish and complete court requirements that are unique to the client’s particular circumstances and which frequently include requirements from other states and/or situations where Driving Under Suspension charges are incurred.

Intakes are by appointment and include a review of the requirements and the development of a Program Plan to enable the client to meet legal obligations, and assist with the reinstatement of driving privileges if required.

This program is designed to educate, screen and intervene in the use and behavior patterns that create DUI/OVI opportunities. The Program is certified by the Ohio Department of Alcohol and Drug Addiction Services.

The Remedial Driving Class can be added for an additional fee. We offer 12-hour, 16-hour and 20-hour courses. Call for more information or to register.

Remedial Driving Class

The Remedial Driving Class is designed to help the client accomplish and complete court requirements that are unique to the client’s particular circumstances and which frequently include requirements from other states and/or situations where Driving Under Suspension charges are incurred. This class is held on Friday. It is an 8-hour class.

Remedial Driving Class Fee: $105

e-based Traffic Safety Class

This class was designed to serve as part of a court’s misdemeanor traffic citation diversion program.

Theft Intervention Class

This is a one day class designed to interrupt theft behavior by addressing accountability for the conscious and deliberate decision to steal. As multiple studies have determined, “economic need” is NOT the primary reason people steal, the class examines the top 10 reasons people steal as a way of removing their sense of justification and entitlement. The class also promotes recognition of personal motivation to break the law and identifies steps to avoid future theft behavior. Screening for alcohol & drug related issues is included and a recommendation is made for further services if required. The Class is held on a Saturday in order to reduce interference in work schedules.

A report is sent to the court following completion of the class.

e-Based Theft Intervention Class

This program is a Theft Intervention Course that can be completed through online coursework. The Class Assignment includes a required reading of information and the completion of assignments base on the required reading. A Personal Plan of Action to avoid repeat behavior is required.

The Class Assignment can be completed at one sitting including payment. Designed for first-time offenders, it offers the court an option for intervening in the theft behavior that is truly impulsive and often peer-driven. The internet-based course often serves as a comfortable medium for High School and College Students.

A report is sent to the court following the completion of the Class

Alcohol and Drug Education Class

This is a one day class designed to educate clients about the physical, behavioral, medical and psychological effects of alcohol. This class would be appropriate for offenders of any age who were under the influence of alcohol or other drugs at the time of their offense or other inappropriate behavior. The class also includes group process and discussion in order to address more individual issues and personal situations. A screening process is included with recommendations for follow up if high-risk indicators are present.

The class is held on Saturdays in order to reduce interference in work or school schedules and is offered two times a month. A completion report is sent to the court within 2 days following completion of the class.

Lunch is NOT provided.

Anger Management Intervention Class

The Anger Management Class is a one day class designed to educate clients about the psychological and behavioral aspects of both anger and behavior control. It educates clients about the nature of the problem and introduces the 4 Point Plan to eliminate and reduce anger and mood-driven impulsive behaviors. A screening is included and staff makes recommendations for additional services if required.

The Extended Anger Management Intervention Program is designed to provide education, as indicated, with the addition of individual sessions to provide the opportunity to address individual issues and plan development. This program consists of the Anger Management Class and a minimum of 3 additional sessions.

The classes are held on Saturdays in order to reduce interference in work schedules. The individual sessions are scheduled independently. A completion report is sent to the court within 3-5 days following the completion of the program.

Extended Anger Management Program: Individually scheduled and priced.

The e-Based Anger Management Class is an online class designed to educate clients about the psychological and behavioral aspects of both anger and behavior control. Comprehensive Alcohol, Drug Abuse and Mental Health Assessments

A comprehensive clinical assessment designed to diagnose alcohol, drug abuse and/ or mental health issues. DSM-IV-TR Manual and the ODADAS Protocols are followed. Recommendations are made for additional services if required. This assessment is available to any referral. A completion report is sent to the court within 3-5 days following completion of the assessment.

Assessment: $260.00 ($250 if paid by cash or money order at the time of assessment)
